Visiting A Castle

Grandpa really wanted to see a castle, and there are plenty to choose from here in Spain. So Matt and the boys went "exploring", not only did they find a castle, but a really great monastery, still functioning.
It sure is exciting to be able to experience history first hand.

La Playa

It was Alessandro's 7'th birthday on July 7'th. And so he was "King for the day" . With his kingly power he commanded that we go spend the day at the beach.
San Javier was the chosen spot, and all had a great time.
Even dear old Grandpa, who never even took off his shoes to squish his toes in the ocean sand.
Too bad though, he never did catch a glimpse of a topless Spanish beach beauty....

Nuestra Casita

Matt built the kids a tree house along with their help of course. Matt can't do anything that includes tools with out the kids helping out.
They were all excited, they decided to paint it lots of bright colors, and as you can see they also ended up painting each other.
All there is left to build is the roof, so the birds don't poop in it!!
