A Walk in the Park
The Parks in Spain are wonderful, and there are lots of them. I guess it is because most people live in Apts.
Some even have cafes and bars in them, and if they don't there is always one right nearby.
Enjoying a yummy treat on a hot summer day is one of those simple pleasures in life.
but then so is picking your nose. !!!!
This one is for you Bomanite Gals!!
What is his name??

MADRID
We hit Madrid agian this past Tuesday.
We needed to go to the American consulate to apply for the baby's passport.
We thought it would be a hard and long day , 4 hour drive up, sit for hours in the Embassy, and bear the heat and traffic, then 4 hours home all with 6 kids!
Thankfully the kids were angles and the temp was a breezy 85, with a desserted empty city, and a really helpful kind consular at the embassy who "overlooked" our missing paperwork!!!!!!

We went to our good friend's,Lorenzo and Angeles baby baptisim last night, and we had a blast. The party didn't start until 10 pm at the restuarant where we ate until 1 am. We left at 2 am because the baby was too fussy , and we were the first to leave. Most everyone stayed until 4 am!! A typical Spanish get-together!
Standing in front of the church entrance, the church is magnificent!
